Linux.com is changing

linux-tutorial.info — Recently, Linux.com has announced that it will be changing its format starting with the new year. I popped on this morning and got a bit of a surprise. I tend to visit the site largely for news updates, but when the default page loaded in my browser, I was confronted with a (yet another) discussion forum.

  • tuxchick, on 01/05/2009, -0/+1Linux.com is dead. There was a very brief announcement last month that changes were in the works, but due to "legal reasons" they could not be revealed. yeah, right. Now it's just a blob of useless user forums. Like the Internet needs more user forums. This is a sad day, because Linux.com used to deliver a lot of good original content.
