I work in a datacenter and we charge $40 per 15 minutes if you need administrative help. Beginner's should start with a control panel to handel the backend of server administration for servers that are in production. For a server you are playing with, this would be ok to learn.

You cannot do that, each domain must be first under root server which point out to correct DNS server and then DNS server will point out to Apache/IIS server. - phool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ok here is my question.

now i want to setup a domain name like pinklama.com
usually what i do now is go to registersite.com , order the domain name and point the name servers to my host.
well now i have my own dedicated line with a static public IP. I want to host the domain on my machine fully, how do I do that without going through a register?
