- chadsmith729, on 10/23/2009, -0/+18I like yours better because it's a higher resolution photo. Much better. I didn't know that Linus is married.
- tripledjr, on 10/23/2009, -1/+17Pro Choice :)
- gvoakes, on 10/23/2009, -1/+15All good man, the pic is of most high quality ;)
- tenbosch, on 10/23/2009, -0/+9They're probably all pirated copies, which explains the thumbs-up and smiling...
- TheMeatball, on 10/23/2009, -1/+9He must have been first in line.
- kostka, on 10/23/2009, -0/+8***** it, we'll just frontpage them both.
- bsmang, on 10/23/2009, -1/+7He does have a great sense of humor.

- cquilliam, on 10/23/2009, -1/+6I think people liking Windows 7 doesn't make them a fanboy. The term 'fanboy' is way too overused these days, just because someone likes something.
Windows 7 is not garbage. I have been a Linux user for 11 years, and I say its not garbage. A friend of mine who has used Mac OS9 and then OS X for the last 10 years says its not garbage. We recognize that it has its place in the computing world and is useful for many things. - nickrct, on 10/23/2009, -2/+7Somehow this just makes me like him even more
- sirloxelroy, on 10/23/2009, -1/+5Take a look at the IPTC data from the picture, it tells all "Caption / Abstract: Microsoft tried to torpedo the success of the Japan Linux Symposium by launching their Windows 7 product that same day. They even had setup a big promotion booth across the street from the conference center." :-)
- Subduction, on 10/23/2009, -1/+5That's a subtle joke for Linux insiders mocking the large footprint of Microsoft operating systems.
- inactive, on 10/23/2009, -0/+4eh im running 7 as i type this, its better than xp and way better than vista. that said this is my gaming rig, for real work i am running freebsd...
- iheartbakon, on 10/23/2009, -0/+4Lucy Van Pelt's brother.
- darkfus, on 10/23/2009, -2/+6Linus knows a good OS when he sees one.
- sirloxelroy, on 10/23/2009, -0/+3WHAT I got Dugg down for telling people which is in the data in the photo. Give me a friggin break.
- kylere, on 10/23/2009, -0/+3It is better than Vista, XP prior to SP1, Windows2000 at release, WinNT by a mile, better than 98 before SE.
Not great, but better. I use both, and I find your rage cute. - BugMeNot2, on 10/23/2009, -1/+4Ethan Hawke

- mikemehak, on 10/23/2009, -0/+3it's a temporary booth.
Stop grasping for straws - anksrivastava, on 10/23/2009, -0/+3badqat, man you are really doing a nice thing by pointing out your mistake.
Love the spirit - Mujokan, on 10/23/2009, -2/+4Akihabara Yodobashi Camera by the looks.
I have some sandals just like that, but I don't wear them with socks. - 3A2D50, on 10/23/2009, -0/+2Sorry if the link came off as snarky, you did have a legitimate question. I did not bury you.
- damnshoes, on 10/23/2009, -0/+2yep
- avianeddy, on 10/23/2009, -0/+2Wrong, he recommends
GREAT PUMPKIN 1.0 - shirosamurai, on 10/23/2009, -0/+2Wow, look at all that pent up nerd rage!
- digitalpencil, on 10/23/2009, -0/+2damn facebook connect... where my geeks at?!
- Uthman, on 10/23/2009, -1/+2What a G
He's so young looking, though! This is my first time seeing him. Thanks for Linux! - mikemehak, on 10/24/2009, -0/+1because that's how events work.
You rent a space ahead of time of a predetermined size
You design/build your both
You arrive at even and erect your booth in their exact location - you cannot take an extra inch in most events. - monktallica, on 10/23/2009, -1/+2Also, Linus's foot is either broken or his shoes are far too big.
Someone trying to overcompensate? - AdmiralAcbar, on 10/23/2009, -1/+2I like the fact that you felt the need to write it in all-caps all three times that you said it.
- lnxfi, on 10/23/2009, -0/+1Ah, thanks for saving me the trouble!
- beerhound, on 10/23/2009, -0/+1I think his sense of humor is a little better than most are giving him credit for. If that stand is like any of the ones I saw in Seoul, those are all pirated copies of Win7.
- ultraseamus, on 10/23/2009, -0/+1How am I grasping at straws? I made a single comment. You make it sound like I have some hidden agenda. I can see that it is temporary, still see no reason why they would not have placed the wall to not intersect the panel.
- Frostek, on 10/23/2009, -1/+2That must be why he has his back to the Windows display.
- Schmich, on 10/23/2009, -0/+1He looks quite different from the pictures I remember him from.
- 3A2D50, on 10/23/2009, -1/+2http://lmgtfy.com/?q=linus&l=1
- TBagwell, on 10/23/2009, -0/+1mee-nus?
- beerhound, on 10/23/2009, -0/+1About the same for me. I'm not a *nix guru, so I use a training wheels distro (Ubuntu 9.10) but windows is still just a toy I use for gaming, all of my productivity happens in Linux.
- jdeane, on 10/23/2009, -1/+1You're kidding, right?
- ultraseamus, on 10/23/2009, -2/+2Having that door closing on top of the maintenance panel looks like some fine engineering.
- Bloodwine, on 10/23/2009, -2/+2Socks with sandals? Bill Gates has already won.
- inactive, on 10/23/2009, -4/+4Isn't Windows 7 some new Linux Distro?
- eliteblast, on 10/23/2009, -4/+3I like linux
- frequentFlyer, on 10/23/2009, -4/+2You get a minus, Linus.
- sh0rtstop00, on 10/23/2009, -3/+1still dont get it.. os x-nux, windows-nux, linux, whats the difference?
- papashawn, on 10/23/2009, -3/+1who the hell is the white dude
- jamesmanning, on 10/23/2009, -3/+0It's fake. Totally photoshopped.
You can tell by the pixels. -
