- mossblaser, on 05/13/2008, -0/+3What a poor article. all it does is talk about what open source stuff is used for and lightly mention that it wouldn't be the same today if it weren't for open source. What a waste of time.
- pentupentropy, on 05/13/2008, -0/+2I'm not even reading this article. I refuse to envision such a concept
- brettalton, on 05/13/2008, -1/+3Get rid of those annoying (and heavy) rollovers and I'll come back to your site.
- normchow, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1Hah! How about a world without Microsoft??
- rsm5068, on 05/13/2008, -1/+3Open-source rules, that's all there is to it. Thanks to projects like Linux and BSD, thousands of children and people across the world now have computers, internet and mobile communications for little to no cost. Without open-source this world would be a very sad place. And so I thank the communities that drive the the OSS movement, ideals and, of course, software development.
- cquinnd, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1Open Source is not a religion.
- ostatic, on 05/13/2008, -1/+0Hi Brett - thanks for your feedback. We are working to make this user-preference driven, so you can decide to never see these rollovers - we added them a few days ago, based on user feedback too, since related projects and information within the site was not accessible from the post directly. Please feel free to submit any other thoughts and feedback to us (you can always send us an email at feedback[at]ostatic[dot]com. We really do value it and solicit it! Thanks in advance for taking the time!
