- weizbox, on 10/10/2008, -0/+3My friends started using this distro after they were using Ubuntu for some time, and so far they're liking it quite a bit. It certainly teaches you a good bit during the install since it has you edit some of your config files along the way, and really lets the user build their own system the way they want it, which I'm clearly a fan on since I personally use Gentoo. Def a distro that needs some more press :)
- inactive, on 11/04/2008, -0/+1I totally agree. It has the customization of Gentoo combined with the simplicity and ease of use of Ubuntu. Also, not installing the junk I don't need by default is great.
Plus: Rolling releases rule, and Pacman is a fantastic package manager. On par with APT IMHO.
