I'm SICK of digg's duplicate checking feature! They walk you through the submission process and have you write the description BEFORE they check for duplicates! You know what, this IS a duplicate of:
http://digg.com/tech_news/Lenovo_dumps_Linux_offli ...
But you know I just spent MY time writing up a clear and useful title and description. It may seem trivial to the guys who run digg, but this has happened to me COUNTLESS times! No wonder you see a handful of "elite diggers" just cramming dupes onto the frontpage with their "digg me and I'll digg you" diggbot serfs! If you are a "normal user" here and BOTHER to try to bring something interesting in, you'll constantly experience this "I just thought through how to explain something in only 350 characters and NOW you want to tell me it's already in the system?! Why did you even have to go through the 'Diggiing through your submission' step anyway?!?" What a waste of time!
Please digg this if you are as sick of POST-submission duplicate checking as I am!
