- personman145, on 02/15/2009, -0/+3I personally like the look of KDE 4.2, though I agree that there is lots of untapped potential as well. Should be interesting to see what the community comes up with over this next year or so.
If you generally don't like KDE, the new Debian 5 release or Ubuntu might be more your taste. KDE has a lot of the slick looks, uniformity, and bells and whistles people look for in a modern desktop, and I always like to play around with latest tech, so that was why I chose to preview Kubuntu.
Appreciate the comments.
-Andy - ThantiK, on 02/15/2009, -0/+2I LOVE KDE - It's the desktop of choice for me - I just don't like its defaults ;)
- ThantiK, on 02/15/2009, -2/+2Lets face it, default KDE is ugly. 3.5, 4.2, all of them. The beauty is under the surface though waiting to be unleashed. KDE-team, give us some shiny presets to work with so the community can OOH and AAH over the possibilities of KDE.
