Kubuntu 8.10 to be released w/dysfunctional Network Manager
bugs.launchpad.net — The KDE Network Manager applet currently in Kubuntu Intrepid 8.10 is deeply flawed compared with the version released with Hardy 8.04. If it isn't fixed soon, Kubuntu 8.10 (with KDE) will have horrible wireless network support, while Ubuntu (with GNOME) will work well.
