- nerddtvg, on 10/22/2008, -0/+1I find it amazing that the base kernel code (under the kernel/ directory) is only 74503 lines. While a lot of code goes into the include and lib directories as well, it's still pretty cool.

This usually involves discarding some old code and adding new code thouhg on balance, there are usually more new lines than old ones, making the kernel grow continually.
