    That sums it up perfectly. Very thoughtful article. I don't believe that proprietary software caused the current economic crisis, but I DO believe the same kind of thinking (and greed) behind proprietary software is the same kind that allowed things to happen the way they have.

    A bit off topic (possibly), but it seems funny that we haven't heard any more details about the cause of the London Stock Exchange computer failure a while back.
