groklaw.net — Sun is not in any trouble. If anyone is in trouble, should Novell decide to do anything about this, which I doubt, it's SCO. The agreement included the indemnification of Sun, so that if anyone sues Sun, SCO has to step in and take the arrow.

  • inactive, on 07/30/2008, -0/+1I think about this every time SCO tries to imply someone is interested in buying them. With all the potential liability SCO has. The hundreds of millions that it may owe to various wounded parties before this fiaSCO ends, wouldn't it be
    cheaper for any potential suiters to just burn their money in a big bonfire.
