- DeviateSeptum, on 06/11/2008, -0/+3That article didn't really even try. No mention of Nexuiz, Tremulus, or Warsow. No Battle for Wesnoth or Glest. Can't digg...

- XVampireX, on 06/11/2008, -0/+2the keyword is _few_ and that's the problem people who play games for real (Not just every now and then) have a bigger chance of buying games powerful enough to be able to play the latest games, and by using linux with wine it's still a little bit limiting...
another thing is that linux is not optimized for gaming in some cases games can run faster but in others they can run much slower... it's not a perfect platform for games yet. - Spr0k3t, on 06/11/2008, -0/+1It's about the same results. WINE is just cheaper, and you can work with the source.
- XVampireX, on 06/11/2008, -0/+1Also speaking of drivers (Just a sub-note) linux contains more, just that sometimes when people buy some PC that doesn't have standard parts from companies either people don't know or just companies that try to hide everything in binary and not even a piece of documentation, there won't be a driver for linux, until someone will somehow reverse-engineer it like for example with the nvidia drivers, can't wait for nouveau to get all the features of the standard drivers and more (optimized for graphics and speed).
- ukblacknight, on 06/11/2008, -0/+1Just out of interest, is Cedega better than wine for gaming?
- esengulov, on 06/11/2008, -0/+1I am on occasional gamer, so far my favorite environment for playing games was Win XP.
