Intel open-sources gen 4 graphics drivers

desktoplinux.com — Intel has just open-sourced Linux drivers that support the 2D/3D graphics features of its 965 Express Chipset, the first chipset to support its fourth-generation graphics architecture.

    Poor price/performance.
    Power hungry (HOT) chip design.
    Closed source hardware support.
    Pressuring retail and OEMs to stay Intel-only.

    What's left? They're looking pretty good these days, and I've been off Intel for 10 years.
