Intel launches mobile Linux initiative

linuxdevices.com — A new Intel-sponsored project aims to foster the development of OS and application software for Linux-powered webpads, UMPCs, and other mobile devices. The project currently comprises a Linux kernel, user interface framework, browser, multimedia framework, and various development tools.
