Intel and Taiwan Inc. Invest in Open Source Research Center

linux-foundation.org — Intel announced today its plans to partner with the Taiwanese government and invest in the island nation’s IT industry to launch an Open Source Software Development Center for mobile devices.

    This could really mean sub $100 laptops based on an open source Linux stack. Quite exciting really.
