IEs4Linux got Internet Explorer 7 RC1 running on Linux

tatanka.com.br — IEs4Linux team found a way to get IE7 RC1 engine running on Linux using Wine. This is the first time someone do this since IE7 beta launched. See screenshot posted there.

    Isn't Firefox so much better and IE just a piece of trash? Why run it in the "perfect" Linux?

  • Inaeth, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Great article! This should be a boon to most of the web developers out there that are tied to developing their pages in multiple ways to be cross-browser compatible.

    Unfortunately, I wouldn't put it past MS to see the silver lining in this technique for them. IE, they will see this as an excuse to NOT be standards compliant, thus increasing the workload for the world's developers.
