- Ademan, on 08/11/2008, -0/+1A couple things, first of all, last I checked xmonad lacks the best feature of dwm, which is tagging windows. And secondly, there's a fork of dwm called awesomewm which really makes it more accessible (like not having to compile your configuration into the program, and pretty cool 'applets')
- prim3, on 10/12/2008, -0/+0so thats some robust and effective wm!
but its haskell-config makes me spontaneously combust ... although i must admit that im more productive in this environment. oh my ... im switching back and forth between pekwm, awesome, fvwm and xmonad on a daily basis.
i sure need to settle down right now, but they all have their pros and cons:
-> i really like ions and pekwms tabbing feature more than fvwmtabs
-> awesomes gloss and tagging and out of the box fulfilling many needs
-> fvwms well ... all those neat little features and the possibility to really do as you please
i need to make my own wm xD
