- udha, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I did apt-get install cabextract wine
then wget http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/downloads/ies4linux-latest.tar.gz
and ran it, now I've got 3 icons on my desktop for each version of the browser, amazing. Great work, for the lazy GNULinux enthusiast! - DawgDaze, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Incredible! I have IE6 and 5.5SP2 running on my Ubuntu Dapper box as I type. It really was as easy as the linked site says.
1. Get Wine
2. Get cabextract
3. Download ies4linux
4. Run the script
5. Magic
6. IE Icons on my desktop (upside down though they may be :)
It's a web developers dream. Give that guy money!
