Honestly, what's up with that list of requirements? The poster decides for arbitrary reasons to list legitimate reasons as invalid. It's almost like saying "Hey, car owners! We at CarSux.org ***** hate cars! Give me reasons to use a Car instead of my Roller Skates. And I don't want to hear ***** reasons like:
1. Cars can go faster.
2. Cars have air conditionersclimate control.
3. Driving a car won't make your legs tired when you use it.
4. You can travel longer distances.
5. You can transport other persons or materials.
6. You don't have to change into shoes to enter certain buildings.
None of that matters because I said so. Try and make a point now, *****!"
Even so, some of you folks have made some good points, though its on the verge of pointless.
I also have my doubts that they'll even make good on that $15-20 donation. I'm sure it's hard to stay afloat on their allowance. Likely, they'll just arbitrarily decide that whatever answers they get are not good enough. I'd like to see some proof of the transaction if and when it occurs.

I find it almost laughable that someone who has their mind already made up is asking this. I mean seriously, you can beat a dead horse as many times as you want, but can you make it drink. 3. Apt-Get- Thousands of Apps a few, secure clicks away.
4. RhythmBox- An all-around better media player then anything else available.
5. File Managing is faster and easier.
6. Multiple Desktops built in.
7. Auto-Ndiswrapper makes wireless almost easier then windows.
8. Because it is actually more secure(the obscurity helps too) then windows.
9. Live CDs
10. Better updating system.
11. More applications out-of-the-box.
12. Works with almost all printers(auto-printer installation in ubuntu) plug&play.
13. Works with almost all cameras plug&play.
14. You can try it out/carry it on a liveCD or USB stick.
15. Linux uses less CPU power, and hence less electricity.
