Gentoo Sucks, Ubuntu Doesn’t.

biodegradablegeek.com — I used Gentoo for a few years, and at first I loved it. Mainly because of portage, but the only distro I had experience with before Gentoo was Slackware, and I used to install packages and dependencies manually, so you can see why Gentoo would was so appealing to me.

  • Technophobia, on 12/30/2008, -0/+1Saying Gentoo sucks is a bit mean but to each their own. After reading this article I see that all a distro choice comes down to is how much time you have.
