GNOME roadmap updated, version 3 pushed back to late 2010

arstechnica.com — The GNOME desktop environment will get its first major version update since 2002 with the upcoming release of GNOME 3.0. Although the 3.0 release was previously planned for March, it has been pushed back to September 2010.

  • motang, on 11/12/2009, -0/+1I loaded up Gnome Shell in virtual install of Ubuntu 9.10 (as I didn't want to mess up my install) and I loved it, can't wait for it come out!
