- gomez18, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1The fact that I can change it to my needs does not help me in the least if I have to break out a compiler. I do not have the luxury of spending hours hacking on code because the interface is awful. I would much rather pay LESS money to get a BETTER phone. To call me ungrateful is ridiculous. In order for me to be grateful, the FSF neckbeards would have to deliver something worth using.
- n0odles, on 07/24/2008, -1/+1The beauty of OpenMoko is you can change to your needs, it's hackable every bit of it. Install Ubuntu's mobile distro if you don't like it and hopefully Google's Andriod. Can you do that with an iPhone, no you have to jail break your warranty. Apple has been restrictive with it's software/hardware for years. They are more restrictive than Microsoft. This isn't news.
You are an IDIOT for calling them fundamentalists or whatever lame ass label you want to apply. You should thank free software advocates for giving users power over their products and having alternatives to closed technologies. ***** you and your ***** blog you ungrateful SOB.
