- insllvn, on 02/13/2008, -0/+8I would be interested to know what patent Trend Micro thinks Barracuda is violating. Is it technological, or does it speak to a business practice ie putting anti virus on a thumb drive? either way, it sounds like a ***** claim to me, and just further proof that patents are no longer serving their purpose, to promote and further innovation.
- martalli, on 02/13/2008, -0/+5I feel like submitting a patent on something like the process of patent suits, and then getting rich suing people who sue for patent infringement. Oh, screw it, someone probably already did that.
- chinpo, on 02/13/2008, -0/+3***** Trend Micro!
- blapierre, on 02/13/2008, -1/+2Who buys over priced Trend Micro software to begin with?
- Bluerayusa, on 02/13/2008, -4/+1wow. Trying to wipe out the competition a little here? If always been a fan of trend micro using their on-line anti-virus service whenever i felt a need to make extra sure my PC is clean. If they are seriously defending a patent reasonably, ie not trying to wipe competition out, then they are withing their right to do so and i will continue using their services otherwise i will join the bandwagon and boycott.
