- amazingkip, on 03/04/2008, -0/+4Agreed. I'm tired of all the Windows and Mac Fan boys dismissing Linux, because copies aren't sold as much. The actual number of users is pretty high.
- Remmy, on 03/04/2008, -0/+2The article mentions market share which is generally calculated at least partially by sales numbers. Since most distributions of Linux are free, it's incredibly difficult to calculate Linux' market share. Someone needs to do an independent study based on the number of downloads Linux recieves to get a better general idea of how many desktops are involved.
