- capitocapito, on 11/13/2007, -0/+29Animated desktops? The background changes color based on time of day!
Want. - braditude101, on 11/13/2007, -1/+18You can't help but love Fedora Core...It got me into using Linux, and I'll never go back.
- mmcgrath, on 11/13/2007, -1/+14I work with her regularly, Máirín one of the most talented people Fedora has.

- secleinteer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11I first clicked on the article, then went to the comments page. It's quite funny, knowing what the first comment's going to be and then seeing it :D
- PhilAirtime, on 11/13/2007, -3/+14The more pleasant artwork and online desktop feature may well persuade me to switch from Ubuntu, which seems to be starting to disappear up its own arse.
- zwaldowski, on 11/13/2007, -0/+9This ***** is great! I want Fedora!
- skyshock1, on 11/13/2007, -0/+9Even though I don't use it, Fedora is a truly great distro.
- johnnyzero, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10this is much better than the current hot air balloons, thanks!
- discourse, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Yes! and Talented and Smart!
- PhilAirtime, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8And people wonder why more women don't get involved in open source!
(obligatory caveman comment: I'd open her source any day, guffaw, snigger, etc etc) - Philluminati, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Is fedora going to have compiz-fusion out of the box?
- b04rdr1d3r, on 11/13/2007, -0/+5they already do....
- RandaII, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4use a current release then talk but before then stfu
- Philluminati, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Agree. Ever since Red hat 6 I wanted to use Linux as my primary os but too many problems stopped me. Fedora Core 6 was the winner that made it happen. All the software I needed at my fingertips, all working out of the box and I'm sure in years to come I will go back to it.
- coolwalking, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Wouldn't her "source" be her mother? eww...
It's not an open source thing, it's the whole area of computers. - coolwalking, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Wasn't Ubuntu always the same ugly brown?
- SimonGray, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4They should have that photo with Máirín Duffy as the default wallpaper.
- arjie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3What? I'm crazy about the balloons, I put them on my Ubuntu desktop. Awesome balloons! Love the blue background.
- ptFoe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2where is the brown cow?
- sebnukem, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I put them on CentOS desktop. Among all the great wallpapers I have, I chose the Fedora 7 balloons.
- mwiriadi, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2sure sure
- anshuman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Using Fedora8 via VMWARE and its rocks. i wonder if people want this vm image to test it out themselves, its just months away from Final release.
- ungamedplayer, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I think e17 had that.. I found it to be more annoying than useful.
- djGentoo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Animated wallpaper... And I wonder what that's going to do to the system's overall speed...
Anyways, I just downloaded the third test DVD image, wish me luck! ;) - KageSenshi, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1well .. the fusion plugins are not really outofthebox .. but its there in the repos .. just yum it ..
- countingthedays, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I agree. I tried lots of distros before fedora(Mostly mandrakes and SuSe's) before I actually got stuck on one.
I've since switched to Linux Mint(IMO, better for desktops), but I still try each release of fedora on a spare computer to see how its improving. I may end up back one day. - elvenseven, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2...
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Same here... Just saw the article and came in here thinking exactly the same thing. FIRST comment... Digg is so predictable... hahaha.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12 questions...
Is she single? Does it matter? - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Link to her livejournal: http://mihmo.livejournal.com/
- KageSenshi, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1well .. the fusion plugins are not really outofthebox .. but its there in the repos .. just yum it ..
- Zeusdawdy, on 10/10/2007, -6/+4Okay, what am missing? I saw 20 of the same blue graphic in different sizes and a few different small images. What the hell?
- noots, on 10/28/2007, -7/+5rounded corners have gotten old really fast.
- mfearby, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1It's amazing what makes it to the front page of digg these days. I saw the article and thought: "meh".
- coolwalking, on 10/28/2007, -5/+1Do you mean never go back to Windows or Fedora? :P
It's a good first distro, but the package management problems (back in Core 2/3, dunno if it's improved) really start to bug you after a while. - apoc2050, on 10/28/2007, -9/+2Nothing new here, move along..
