- OutrightLie, on 10/29/2008, -2/+25Shuttleworth's picture looks like he is from some bad, 3AM Infomercial.
But thank you for attempting to bring Linux to the masses. - inactive, on 10/29/2008, -0/+19What's so bad about being a nerd? If it wasn't for nerds we wouldn't even have electricity.
Nerd =/= Bad - matt4077, on 10/29/2008, -0/+18Well Shuttleworth is already a Billionaire, so he's already done better things than insulting people on digg.
- Persian5Life, on 10/29/2008, -0/+17this shows that just because someone has a pedo smile it does not mean that they are a bad person.
- RumpleForeskin3, on 10/29/2008, -3/+20I always pictured a guy like Rick Ruben, the music producer, in his moms basement, with a soldering iron.
That Mepis guy is creepy looking. - ileftfark, on 10/29/2008, -0/+14Their physical features are actually reminiscent of the qualities of their distros:
-Shuttleworth looks family-friendly, ready for prime-time, but could also be the host for AFHV
-Ian Murdock looks like a rugged dude who's been around the block, but no polish
-Patrick Volkerding looks like, well.... a geek
-And MEPIS dude, I guess a hearty 'WTF' would go for his 'style' and his distro
/.02 - RaulMuadDib, on 10/29/2008, -0/+14Patrick is married and has at least one child. His wife helps him compile kernels.
- Haydre, on 10/29/2008, -0/+13E: Invalid operation better
- billbugger, on 10/29/2008, -0/+13Is it just me, or does the guy behind Slackware seem a little young to be born in 1966?
Edit:
Only 4 distros? - SDL486, on 10/29/2008, -0/+12Warren Woodford has a gigantic head.
- inactive, on 10/29/2008, -0/+11Its assumed.

- inactive, on 10/29/2008, -0/+10Cool idea, but why only four distros?
Where's Daniel Robbins and Gaƫl Duval? And whoever founded SuSE? - RaulMuadDib, on 10/29/2008, -1/+10Richard Stallman
- yeahright, on 10/29/2008, -0/+9Shamwow!
You watching this, camera guy? - inactive, on 10/29/2008, -1/+9I imagined, at least, one of them would have a full grown "Santa Claus" beard.

- MattFromSeattle, on 10/29/2008, -1/+7Even better idea Eaststand - just don't use Linux. You may not like it, but there's plenty of us out there that do like Linux. And there's plenty of people who like Windows. And plenty who like OS-X. That's the great thing - you can choose what works best for YOU.
- ch40sBr1ng3r, on 10/29/2008, -4/+10Ahhhhhh, heroes. I want to be like them when i grow up.
Edit: There is quite a few missing tho :(
DSL, Suse ( Opensuse ), Fedora, Etc etc.....i would have gone to distro watch and saw which are considered the most popular distros THEN post pictures.
Dugg nonetheless. - mmcgrath, on 10/29/2008, -0/+5Strange they'd put this together at all and not even bother to include any SuSE, RHEL, OpenSuSE, CentOS, Scientific Linux or Fedora people.
- DrOctagonapus, on 10/29/2008, -0/+5pretty neat! Now i have a face and a name to blame when i can't get something to work :P
