- perfectnation, on 11/09/2007, -0/+5i used to play multiplayer tetris in vim.. now i can play multiplayer doom
- inactive, on 10/26/2007, -0/+5It should be noted that you can do this with Perl, Tcl and Ruby as well, except that distros usually just ship versions of vim compiled with Python support. Vim is the only piece of software I regularly build from source nowadays, partly to enable language extension support and to add some "private" patches to the source I use.
- ironcamel, on 10/26/2007, -0/+4are you serious about playing multiplayer doom in vim?
- Irco, on 10/26/2007, -0/+4because is good to remember how digg was in the old days...

- SergeantPepper, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2Can emacs do this? I use emacs but my LISP skills have atrophied and it would be great to extend it with Python.
- andycr512, on 11/02/2007, -0/+2You can't blame them. Writing an OS is hard work.
- burke, on 10/30/2007, -0/+2Not as far as I know. There was a movement a while back to redo EMACS in... I think it was python, actually, but whoever was responsible for it gave up quickly.
- burke, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2Get the hell off my lawn.
- GerbilOfCarnage, on 11/10/2007, -1/+2If Jesus used a text editor it would be vim. The code he wrote would be in python. Stop with the specist captcha's!
- woxidu, on 10/25/2007, -2/+3Not new or news, but I guess worth knowing... *shrugs* Dugg
