education.zdnet.com — Whilst going a little too far, IMHO, this article makes a good point, when considering a Linux environment don't discount other costs, like supporting it, just because the price tag is $0.00.

  • neko, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2If we're talking about a corporate or educational setup, of course it's not without the cost of supporting it. But so what? Regardless of OS, you're gonna have to support it.

    And don't tell me Windows is somehow easier to maintain. Synaptic->Update->Mark all upgrades->Apply, or being a Next-button-clickslave for the next hour, I know which I'd prefer.
