Custom Gnome start menu icon
geekdw.net — I thought I’d post a little tutorial on how to change the start menu icon in Gnome. I’ve always wondered how to do it, but for some reason I wasn’t able to figure out how until recently. It turned out to be really simple. I’m using Ubuntu in this example, but it should work almost the same for other distros.
