Configuring Samba and using CIFS in Red Hat Fedora Core 9
fedora.kandle.us — Samba is a way to share files with Microsoft Windows computer systems. It works similar to a Microsoft Windows shared folder when connecting to Red Hat Fedora Core 9 from computers running Microsoft Windows. If you don't have any Microsoft Windows computers then you don't need this service and should remove it.
