- thewump, on 07/23/2008, -0/+3Mine does.. Kudos to Mac for creating a great color scheme, icon set etc., that's what I use on my linux boxes. Although the UI can be glitchy ( especially at initialization ) compiz-cube BY FAR outweighs the value of Spaces ( or is it called pages? I forget ).

Perhaps it's just me, but Mac as it currently stands just feels too restrictive. They are moving in the right direction though. One thing I do like about the Mac though, it's not Windows... and that's really what counts.

I have an apple G3 with OSX Tiger I bought for 50$ a couple of years ago and is nice but slow compared to todays machines. I have tried Leopard on my machine with OSX86 and got it working flawlessly and fast, but I prefer Linux. my quad core computer has now become the media extender and i use my mac mini as my primary computer.
( yeah, the quad core 3.2ghz beast with 4 gigs of ram is beaten by a mac mini for both speed and functionality.. *speed only applies to basic tasks obviously )

give mac a chance before you diss it, we're not all screaming fanboys but all mac users will tell you you're missing out on a hassle free experience.
