- sloppychris, on 03/18/2008, -0/+10Every time you type "***** the MPAA", think about this movie. If you're the kind of person who is willing to put your money where your mouth this, this is the place to do it.
- Remmy, on 03/19/2008, -0/+9Even more important than the movie itself is all the development that went in to Blender to make the movie possible. Not to mention that everything, the blend files, the artwork, the music... everything will be released under the creative commons license. Those reasons alone make it worth the money.
- inactive, on 03/19/2008, -0/+6you can download it for free, legally. I don't even think you *can* download it "illegally".
that's kind of the whole point..... - daftman, on 03/19/2008, -0/+6Look very impressive and polished.
Well it can't really compare to pixar but against crappy titles like barnyard and happily never after, it wins hands down.
Now let's see if we can make this a blockbuster like how blair witch project becomes a hit - swrostmore, on 03/19/2008, -0/+2Above link is to Blender 2.45, most recent version is 2.46 RC1 .... which has many great improvements and new features!
