Asus low-end laptops to run Xandros

desktoplinux.com — In early June, Asustek Computer and Intel announced at Computex Taipei that they would soon be releasing a low-end $199 subnotebook PC, the Asus Eee PC 701. It appears to be on schedule, and when it arrives in customers' hands in late August or early September it will be running a variation of Xandros Desktop Linux.

  • schestowitz, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2When seen earlier, I couldn't understand why SJVN posted this. It's not news. This has been know n for a while (if you looked closer). It reaffirms my suspicion that SJVN almost *likes* those companies that join hands with Microsoft in their suicidal trip.
