After 10 years: What is Open Source?

  • schestowitz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4It would probably be good to return to "Libre software". People still wrongly associated "Free software" with cost.
    • libervisco, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I wouldn't oppose that idea. Still, I think it is much easier to resolve the issue with the word "free" than with the issue of misapplying "open source". All you need to say is "free speech, not free beer". Most people would probably get it at that point.
