  • kd420, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1I also suggest changing the default boot splash for a *full* theme. I changed mine to one similair to the default Ubuntu splash, but green instead of orange. The package "startupmanager" is the best for this, and there are tons of great bootsplash themes from gnome-look.org as well.
