A journalistic website, although dedicated mostly to Linux and other Unix platforms, should not be in the business of collecting technical data that honesty isn't that fun to read about. Although I'm sure there are developers who read Phoronix, the average new Ubuntu/PCLinuxOS/OpenSUSE/Mandrivia user is not going to find this interesting. But, I guess that isn't Phoronix's niche either.
