Civil Engines Research's Civil Netizen - then00b, on 10/29/2008, -2/+31Saw it was a slideshow. Closed the tab. Buried.
- WoollyMittens, on 10/29/2008, -0/+20I stopped reading slideshows. The internet isn't powerpoint.
- kinadian, on 10/29/2008, -0/+13What a terrible website! Flashing Ads, no layout flow. The article content (what little where is) shouldn't be on the right hand side along with the ads. Not to mention that the comments on the site have much more useful information than the entire article itself.
I have never buried anything until now. - benjp2k1, on 10/29/2008, -3/+15Where is the linux chick!? They have the PC and Mac guys... but not the linux chick...
Buried because of no linux chick. - emberjohn, on 10/29/2008, -1/+9C'mon guys, stop making money with page-views to increase money!!
- ch40sBr1ng3r, on 10/29/2008, -0/+7Burried. I'd rather drill holes in my head and fill them with salt than bore myself with slideshows.
- kmkoni, on 10/29/2008, -0/+5you sure burried that in a hury.
- vladin, on 10/29/2008, -0/+5You've been on Digg since 2007. Do you really want to get reported as spam?
- dicer999, on 10/29/2008, -1/+5You really aren't cool.
- RodBorn, on 10/29/2008, -2/+6Thought this was going to be another "Open Office and Wine are a must article"
...nope.
Pretty good list of Enterprise products that would surprise some. Thanks. - klitzbtc, on 10/29/2008, -0/+4You've been on digg since 2006, made 54 diggs, and that was your first comment?
- Skod, on 10/29/2008, -3/+7DROPBOX!
- ajb2015, on 10/29/2008, -0/+4If you don't like his comment, why not click the reply button right next to it? Why not avoid cluttering the comments?
- RoboDonut, on 10/29/2008, -0/+3>bafoons
Oh, the irony. - ArpitJain, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2What about Adobe Flash Player and Adobe AIR?
- javaroast, on 10/29/2008, -0/+2Imagine that, Julie188 employed by Network World doesn't like peopling burying the Network World story. Unfortunately I buried because in this case the slide show and especially the 14 pages is the kind of stuff that deserves to be buried. My suggestion is to you is to take this up with the editors of Network World. Look at page 14... a single paragraph. And he didn't review each app he summarized them. So, I bury when I see this kind of crap. And I do it, because it's one very small way to tell publishers to knock it off. Don't like it... tough. That's how digg rolls. Don't like the way digg works... submit somewhere else where there is no bury button.
- kraftj, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Buried not only for being a slide show, but for being a horrible list, too.
- korashime2001, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1We've been using Zimbra Collaboration Suite for about a year now. Everybody is really happy with it. It even works with the iPhone as an Exchange server!
- javaroast, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1bury
- CaptRage, on 10/29/2008, -3/+4Actually, your the first :/
- CaptRage, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Doah, you're correct.
- JesseDyer, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1This article really truly sucked. 14 pages to read a list of crap I don't need.
- mingusmingus, on 10/29/2008, -1/+2you're
- krc1, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Just go to the PRINTER-FRIENDLY VERSION:
http://www.networkworld.com/community/print/30684? ... - yozef, on 10/29/2008, -0/+1Yep, I agree, Adobe AIR will fill the Gap, and I fell lead it.
- svivian, on 10/29/2008, -1/+1racist
- dalittle, on 10/29/2008, -1/+1Uh, where is Firefox.
- Knet88, on 10/29/2008, -1/+1Why does everyone cry about it when there is more than one page?
- yuravian, on 10/29/2008, -1/+1I snigger'd.
- JakeW, on 10/29/2008, -1/+1Dugg for your comment.
- Japskunk, on 10/29/2008, -1/+1if your going to use slide show pictures, make em bigger so you can read what the hell they are!
- ElTomacco, on 10/29/2008, -3/+2Seriously, I'm so sick of having to waste my time reading thousands of words. If it can't be explained in less than 3 sentences, it's not worth knowing about.
- NJank, on 10/29/2008, -4/+2c'mon guys, that was funny.
- karacter11228, on 10/29/2008, -3/+0You got dropped on your head a lot as a kid huh.... The slideshow with the summaries is only half the piece. It is linked to a full review of each product... The pretty pictures are for bafoons like you who have a 3rd grade reading level and cannot handle more than a sentence.
- whahaa, on 10/29/2008, -4/+0Kalvin Ellision is the very best, better than the very best, but since there's no word for better than the very best we call him Sir.
- Julie188, on 10/29/2008, -9/+3If you don't like a kind of content (slideshow or video), why bury a story? Why not just choose to digg other stuff? I LIKE to click through slideshows because I LIKE visual content overall -- a great way to get all the facts without having to read 1000 words of whatever. This is a cool list for the enterprise and the guy personally reviewed them all.
- pathouston22, on 10/29/2008, -12/+3My favorite cross-platform program is Windows. Its runs tons of office software, games, multimedia programs, and even the internets!! Its amazing, its runs almost anything!
- Ice2257, on 10/29/2008, -18/+22nd comment WoooHoooooo
