- 4321234, on 06/14/2008, -0/+2My default kde install included amarok, k3b, ktorrent, Kaffeine, Gwenview, Digikam. But then you said, "don't come with a kde installation". I'm sure you could name about any application and somewhere out there there's a distro that doesn't include it.
- XVampireX, on 06/14/2008, -0/+2The person means that it's not a standard KDE application, it's a third party application that uses KDE libs...
- 3242130193, on 06/14/2008, -1/+3Whether or not those applications are included really depends on the distro that you're using. Kubuntu does come with Amarok for example.
- Mejogid, on 06/15/2008, -0/+1It's odd - objectively I know nautilus is a pretty poor file manager. It lacks a fair few features that would be very usefull (although it's good to see some progress towards this in development versions) *but* I do find it makes a very nice file manager for everyday tasks, and plugins like nautilus actions can be extremely useful additions to a work flow. Anything more than that, I preffer the terminal anyway simply because pipes have a functionality that can't readily be matched by reasonably simple GUI software.
- 4DFX, on 06/15/2008, -0/+1They forgot Krusader - a Total Commander clone. When you get used to it you might as well uninstall konqueror, nautilus, dolphin...
- XVampireX, on 06/15/2008, -0/+1Krusader is not a bad app it's good for heavy file management but it's not for everyone...
