- KyleGoetz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Until Digg lets you reply to specific comments and lets you know when people make comments about what you've said, it will not have the community atmosphere that /. does. If Digg disappeared, I wouldn't feel an empty hole in my life.
I think most people wouldn't even be here had it not been a project of Kevin Rose, who many people here try to fellate every chance they get. Don't get me wrong, Kevin does some great things, I'm just saying that people fawn over everything he does here. There are some flaws with Digg, and if Digg wants a community atmosphere, there need to be some changes like the one I mentioned. I barely even read anything on Digg because there is too much, and not enough discussion going on. Most people here just make a comment and then never see what kind of discussions they spawned. This is why /. is better than Digg in my book; it has a community of users. Hell, no one even USES the rating system for comments here! I still haven't even figured out how to actually commit my ratings yet, and it's been on the site for months! - brucebeh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0woah.. top it off with theglobeandmail.com beating slashdot.org :)

Google will find a way to add whatever RSS feed you want to their MyGoogle not that far off. Don't worry. They see us. The feel us.
If only we had the smart people system like slashdot does, we wouldn't see flamers/wholls saturating the message board markets. Then it would be sweet.
