yeah this is obviously an advert.I think the market for sites like this is oversaturated cos there are better ones like OkCupid etc. that have more people on them. I checked this site out a month ago and there's hardly anyone on there, a few people from the UK but the chances of finding a girl in your city is very low.

Welcome to the world of camwhores!
The internet gives a stage to those that wouldn't get a stage anywhere else, because the audience is more desparate and horny than anywhere else. You might not be the prettiest face or hottest body at a night club or a bar or a concert, but ont he internet, unless you look like Count Chocula, there will be a big audience to pump up your ego if you post a few cute pigs and maybe a boob shot or two on your webcam.
The internet is a place where fugly and average girls can pretend they're "models". And if you read the average bio or profile on most idiotic networking sites (livejournal, xpeeps, myspace, etc) most actually think they _are_ models.
I know people that have fallen in love and married though they originally met online, but not through dating or network sites. They were back in the day of IRC and BBSes mostly and they weren't going to places specifically to hook up with lots of friends and strangers like they do on myspace.
Anyway, if it keeps people like that off the rest of the internet, go for it. Hate to break it to you, but bars or clubs are not in fact the best ways for girls to meet guys. The guys who come up to girls in bars, more often than not, are unemployed players. Furthermore, if you're a girl who has a lot of male friends, not many guys are going to come up to talk to you in a bar. The only guys who will are those who are assholes. Hmm, thanks, but I'll pass.
At least with the internet, you can narrow it down to the people who went to college, have jobs, etc.
Of course, there is nothing saying that a girl can't use both ways of meeting guys.
