- schwab002, on 06/23/2009, -11/+300Best trophy in pro sports.
- drivingalone, on 06/23/2009, -2/+125Passing the Cup around is one of the best traditions in sport.
- inactive, on 06/23/2009, -3/+108sorry babe,
looks like the cup feel asleep on my arm... i just couldnt wake him he looks so peaceful
how about you sleep on the floor again? - theaceoface, on 06/23/2009, -0/+85And in the morning Crosby awkwardly asked the cup if it wanted some eggs
- WatupJosh, on 06/23/2009, -3/+67Hockey rules
- nobleexperiment, on 06/23/2009, -0/+30Think about all the names engraved on the Stanley Cup before Sid. The Cup slept with maybe 250 or more men before him, which means Lord Stanley scores more than the average Digger.
- hknaven, on 06/23/2009, -30/+57i just threw up a little bit in my mouth

Trust me, its a tradition - Final, on 06/23/2009, -7/+28@crossmr
162 games of standing around and doing something every 10 minutes isn't quite the same thing as a hockey game.....unless baseball got FAR more entertaining since the last time i watched it. - KingGorilla, on 06/23/2009, -0/+18I've heard about treating women like objects but objects like women?
- samsonofjohn, on 06/23/2009, -10/+27probably nothing like he did the whole series
- awicks89, on 06/23/2009, -3/+19".... John, what's this new hole for?"
- zero, on 06/23/2009, -2/+18Don't make us Wings fans look bad. WWSYD (what would steve yzerman do?)
- darthsand, on 06/23/2009, -6/+22awww how cute.
- kibbled, on 06/23/2009, -1/+15But scored less than your Mom.
- stanski1, on 06/23/2009, -1/+15He must have noticed his reflection.
- coreyshively, on 06/23/2009, -0/+13at Mario's house.
- EvilDeadAsh, on 06/23/2009, -10/+22I wonder how many truly vile things have happened to the Cup? Other than being in the possession of the Wings...
- inactive, on 06/23/2009, -3/+15same
- Lososaurus, on 06/23/2009, -2/+13People in the rest of the world( Not the US and Canada ) may revere the world cup, but The Stanley Cup is by far the most grueling to attain. Do yourself a favor and watch 'Our Stanley Cup', http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIv8O_djPuk
- Schober43, on 06/23/2009, -57/+68Crosby is still a bitch.
- bigbadgoat, on 06/23/2009, -0/+11250?
The cup is over 100 years old.
more like 2000. - tkcom, on 06/23/2009, -1/+12I wonder if we'll see baby Stanley Jr 9 months later.
- climateoffear, on 06/23/2009, -0/+10If by always, you mean for one day, then yes.
- Tamant, on 06/23/2009, -7/+17"It looks like he spoons really well!"
Someone just came out of the closet.. - doobiebrother, on 06/23/2009, -0/+10Better than 2 Girls 1 Stanley Cup
- Mercedes383, on 06/23/2009, -0/+10Then drinking it again.
- coreyshively, on 06/23/2009, -0/+10He lives with Lemeuix during the season.. Goes back to canada in the off season which has been a total of 4 months the past two seasons.
- EvilDeadAsh, on 06/23/2009, -15/+24But that crybaby bitch has the cup!!! GO PENS!!!!
- UNL1M1T3D, on 06/23/2009, -3/+12Mario Lemuiex: As long as it's just for tonight.
- fxu1989, on 06/23/2009, -2/+10Fleshlight.
All of the action, none of the whining. It would be perfect if it could make me a sandwich. - Lososaurus, on 06/23/2009, -4/+11No you couldn't.
There is The Stanley Cup. One. ( Unless you want to count The Challenge Cup )
If you want to talk a grueling path, it's a bare minimum of 96 games to play to win The Cup. That assumes you win every single game in the playoffs. - shoelessschippa, on 06/23/2009, -1/+8While my initial anger agrees with you, we didn't show up for games 6 and 7 until the third period. We lost the cup ourselves. For the next two nights i woke up feeling like it was all just a dream...one sad dream...
- UNL1M1T3D, on 06/23/2009, -1/+8Feel free to do it again:
http://sportsbybrooks.com/kris-drapers-daughter-ma ... - KingGorilla, on 06/23/2009, -0/+7what are you talking about? It's a great way of getting laid. Spooning leads to forking
- loconet, on 06/23/2009, -4/+11Those crazy Canadians...
- KingGorilla, on 06/23/2009, -0/+7So is drinking from it and throwing up in it afterwards
- Snoogs, on 06/23/2009, -0/+7Clearly you've never seen the Big Lebowski.
- Drax0n, on 06/23/2009, -4/+10Buried because your a sore loser.
- Hockey13, on 06/23/2009, -1/+7I agree with glberns. Baseball is, by no means, entirely effortless. It is not as physically demanding (both cardiovascular and raw strength) as hockey...for the most part. But there are quite a few muscles and tendons that get worked in baseball to an extreme that rarely get worked in hockey at all. The rotator cuff is a prime example. Getting hit in the head with a 95mph fastball is also not pleasant. On the other hand, it happens a lot less than getting hit by a 95mph slap shot in hockey....and there they're trying to get hit by the puck.
I've played hockey all my life....but come on...quit comparing the sports as if attaining the ultimate goal in one is somehow more difficult than doing so in another. They're all just complex games. - rayh04, on 06/23/2009, -6/+12so malkin is pimping his trophy out i see.

Im from the east coast of canada, Home of the bag pipe
Known for the fiddle players, beer and our keg price
Known for alexander keiths and the donair
Home of the mooseheads but i dont really go there
We pay a buck for a litre of gas AND
Smokes cost ten dollars a pack DAMN
we always mix our tabacco with weed
it's just the way we always done it, ***** its natural to me
so let me tackle beat then arrive on the scene,
and let you people kow what you never travel to see
we got battle MC's we got story tellers
and we got awful mc's, corny *****
we got everything you wanna hear, consious to backpack
comercial to gangsta, R&B to abstact, grundge to rock,
classical to country, so many artists workin' but no one makin money
welcome to the east coast home of the innocent
still pigeon hold is a form or a fisherman
no major league teams, baseball or hockey
no urban radio, just country and pop beats
im trying to shake these stereo types
so give me space please let me arrow my life,
i dont even eat fish, ***** i never tried lobster
can't play the fiddle, and never was a logger
(wanna swim in clean lakes) yeah and enjoy cool breezes
but halifax harbour is like swimming in diseases
we only known for anne of green gables
coal mines, the bluenose and p.e.i. potatoes,
the maritimes is better than that
we livin' in another time so dead or without
we got universal soul AND buck 65 AND
the whole ctg AND of course classified
we got backburner, goodnight, alpha flight, lockdown, whiteboy,
first words, trobiz and L-Town
and a million other artists trying to get their flow heard,
and to let ya know we still workin on these out skirts
we tryin to blow like halifax explosion
or maybe anne murray i know she's nova scotian
or hurricane juan blowin from the ocean
either way it goes im still reppin for my coast man - inactive, on 06/23/2009, -0/+5god knows what he did with the throphy last night...

- ryancxx, on 06/23/2009, -0/+5Porking leads to storking
- TheAllBeing, on 06/23/2009, -1/+5I know I have enough class to at least shake hands after a win. But I guess I shouldn't expect too much from him; he's only the captain.
I feel happy for the Pens, but couldn't care less about Crosby. - graemee, on 06/23/2009, -1/+5@Lososaurus
There are actually three Stanley Cups: the original bowl, the authenticated Cup, and the replica at the Hall of Fame. - blitz718, on 06/23/2009, -0/+4I'm willing to bet Schober43 has more class than this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wqR17KrLKw
- tcasey22, on 06/23/2009, -0/+4Forking leads to porking.
