- Nightfall01, on 12/12/2007, -0/+3Yea, this is a little more like Greatest American Hero style flying.

- tillerman00, on 12/12/2007, -1/+3Nor mine. A true Superman flying formation is: body rigid, both arms outstretched ahead, tippy toes extended behind, eyes focused directly ahead at movie camara.
- Fixthemedia, on 12/12/2007, -8/+43Maybe when he fell off the horse?
- ThetaDot, on 12/12/2007, -13/+14I remember seeing this live with my housemates. Hasek is the "dominator" indeed.
- MrZop, on 12/12/2007, -6/+3If a blatant and cheap penalty is considered domination, than yes.
- kinseyincanada, on 12/12/2007, -1/+6it wasnt a cheap penalty at all, Gobaorik had his head down and Hasek came out to play the puck.
- sgtbutterscotch, on 12/12/2007, -0/+4How is that a penalty? He was going for the puck and he got the puck. It's not Hasek's fault Gaborik couldn't get out of the way.
- nitramlliw, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1goalie=tank on ice, you have to be a ***** not to move

- sugarTits, on 12/12/2007, -17/+276buried for inaccuracy. Superman wouldn't play for minnesota.
- Armitage2k, on 12/12/2007, -0/+3Superman also does not flip in the air like that.
- gyrfalcon, on 12/12/2007, -1/+5Superman would play for Minnesota long before he played for Australia...

- brainspout, on 12/14/2007, -0/+1I know, I literally LOL when I realized the music playing in the arena, and i HATE the DeadWings. Bravo!
- PEMDAS, on 12/13/2007, -1/+0Nowhere is Superman said to be on any hockey team. They only said "like Superman". Buried for all the asshats who thought your poorly worded comment deserved diggs.
- sugarTits, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1its a joke douche bag
- jmreedy, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1Do you even watch hockey?
- harryterry, on 12/12/2007, -19/+114unfortunately Hasek got a penalty for that, it was a good play. and it's good that hockey is showing up more on digg.
- Frozenpython, on 12/12/2007, -17/+11good play?! Are you mental? Not only was that a dirty trip and Hasek tried to play dumb about it but he could have blown out his knee or broke his neck. I can't believe you have been dugg up...
- bobdotcom, on 12/12/2007, -3/+5actually, it is a good play, hes a goalie, he jumped on the puck (which happens to be what he earns millions of dollars a year to do) and gaborik was too cocky to watch where he was going. Its not like Hasek ignored the puck and dove at his knees, he just slid out, and took the puck. This is why we do those jumping drills in tyke.. If gabby had his head up, it wouldn't have been a big deal at all.
- Frozenpython, on 12/12/2007, -8/+3He got a ***** penalty = not a good play. I'll say it again. Getting a penalty is not good play. You cannot take players legs out from under them, plain and simple.
And to respond to your comment below about D'men doing this, you're right they do it all the time... but ant any point they take out the player in the process it's a tripping penalty.
Look, I can understand where you are coming from and how he might be trying to play the puck. The point is he didn't play just the puck he took out the player too. It's a penalty no matter which way you look at it. So quit trying to justify what he did as a clean play.
And as for Gaborik having his head down.. Yeah it was down at first cause he's trying to get control of the puck. At the moment when he was brining up his head to make the play he was tripped. I don't know a single hockey player who can keep their head up when they puck is coming from behind them.- ConAmoreEFuoco, on 12/12/2007, -0/+7The fact that he got a penalty doesn't make it a bad play. Hasek didn't trip him, he was coming out to challenge Gaborik, which is legal. Gaborik unfortunately didn't anticipate this, and was concentrating on stick-handling. It's not Hasek's fault that Gaborik didn't avoid the collision. Hasek even ducked so Gaborik could jump over him.
- harryterry, on 12/12/2007, -3/+3are you serious? you think i'm mental? have you even played hockey before?? people are gonna get hurt get over it. i'm glad you've been dugg down moron. now start watching the sport and learn about it.
- Frozenpython, on 12/12/2007, -3/+2Yes, I think you are mental if you think a good play is getting a penalty. And Yes I have played and watched Hockey my whole life...
You cannot take a players legs out like that. There isn't a more obvious tripping call than that.

- Frozenpython, on 12/12/2007, -3/+2Yes, I think you are mental if you think a good play is getting a penalty. And Yes I have played and watched Hockey my whole life...
- Nichoman, on 12/12/2007, -6/+1Actually, no, he did not get a penalty.
- vanza001, on 12/12/2007, -0/+4Actually, yeah, he did get a penalty, but goalies don't serve penalites. I watched the game.
- silverwolf761, on 12/12/2007, -2/+8I used to play Goalie, and even I think that he probably should have gotten a penalty. If any other player had done that, they would have SURELY gotten a tripping penalty, and Goalies should be no different, especially considering how far out he was. It wasn't a dive by any means.
- sgtbutterscotch, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2Dude, any player is allowed to check anyone with the puck. Secondly, Hasek, being the goalie, has to be shorter since he plays closer to the ground. I mean come on, the goalie's job is to get the ***** puck, so don't be a nancy-boy by saying he deserves a penalty when he is just doing his ***** job.
- silverwolf761, on 12/12/2007, -1/+1If any player hip-checks any other player and causes them to go flying over top of them, chances are you will also get a tripping penalty. I know this, because it happened to me (I also played Defense). The Goalie's job is not to "get the ***** puck", it's to keep the "***** puck" out of the net. It doesn't mean that they can dive at someone's legs, and doesn't give any other player that right. He took out the guys legs, which is a trip. Take for example if you check someone and you put your hands up, you can either be called for roughing, or even elbowing. Yes, you checked the guy, but in doing so you broke the rules. I do agree that the league calls way too many penalties, but I agree with it in this case.
You comment about how goalies HAVE to be shorter is hilarious and has no bearing whatsoever on the discussion being had. I could resort to namecalling like you did, but your overuse of the word ***** is evidence enough of your dwindling intellect.- sgtbutterscotch, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1You know, I don't usually cuss in my posts. Also, I just like the word nancy-boy (better that pussy isn't it?). Anyway, the goalie is usually hunched over, therefore, he is usually lower to the ground, is he not? Therefore, instead of just knocking the other guy down on his ass like in a normal hard collision, the goalie would tend to flip the guy over his head. I can't believe you are saying it should be a penalty though, because Hasek was clearly going for the puck and when he saw the collision was imminent, he slid to avoid being crushed, thus, sending Gaborik flying.
- silverwolf761, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1^
I don't know.... If he didn't intend to slide at him, what was he planning on doing? He was out pretty much at the top of the circle. I don't think many people would come out that far for a poke-check. The video is too blurry so I can't even see how he had his stick. But then again, if you're going to attempt a poke-check, you'd go after him head-on rather than turn yourself sideways...
- silverwolf761, on 12/12/2007, -1/+1If any player hip-checks any other player and causes them to go flying over top of them, chances are you will also get a tripping penalty. - bukdez, on 12/12/2007, -2/+4the stupidest part of that play was that hasek could have seriously injured himself, let alone the other player
- sgtbutterscotch, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1Hey, it's the other player's fault if he injures himself because he could have easily seen that Hasek was coming at him. All he had to do was sideskate the goalie for the easy goal and I'm pretty sure Gaborik is one of the fastest players in the NHL.
- wicketr, on 12/12/2007, -3/+4It'd be nearly impossible to blow out a knee considering they are on skates and he was hit strait on. Secondly, his mission is to stop the puck from getting past him. If he had been in his little box and the same thing happened, it wouldn't have been a penalty at all. The only reason it was, was because he was so far out of the box.
I personally don't think you should call tripping unless you miss the puck altogether. It should be ruled alot like slide tackling in soccer/football. If you miss the ball all together it's a penalty. If you slide tackle and get the ball then it's a good play, regardless of how far the opponent flies through the air.- Frozenpython, on 12/12/2007, -1/+1LOL.... if that was the case you would see players falling and diving in front of players all the time... OH wait that does happen sometimes... It's called TRIPPING! You can't do that!
And justifying what Hasek did and saying it's ok cause he was just trying to stop the puck is ridiculous.- bobdotcom, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1actually, D men do this all the time to block shots or passes for 2 on 1s, just the player thats got the guy in front of him sees the guy coming and doesnt run him over....
- Frozenpython, on 12/12/2007, -1/+1LOL.... if that was the case you would see players falling and diving in front of players all the time... OH wait that does happen sometimes... It's called TRIPPING! You can't do that!
- UltraDavid, on 12/12/2007, -2/+5Yeah, it's a good hockey play, shouldn't have been penalized. And I agree, great to see hockey on Digg, maybe some of the people who think this should have been penalized will get more familiar with the game and change their opinions.
- Frozenpython, on 12/12/2007, -17/+11good play?! Are you mental? Not only was that a dirty trip and Hasek tried to play dumb about it but he could have blown out his knee or broke his neck. I can't believe you have been dugg up...

- Cannon49, on 12/12/2007, -3/+6No, Hasek is a self-centered crybaby who needs a good beat down.
- SeventhSon, on 12/12/2007, -0/+3He looks goofy as hell, but he gets the job done.
- UNL1M1T3D, on 12/12/2007, -1/+2Actually Osgood is a lot better since Hasek took that year off. All you have to do to beat Hasek is shoot high on him
- strikerK, on 12/12/2007, -1/+2Ah, good job finding his weakness. What team do you play for? you MUST be in the nhl right?
- UNL1M1T3D, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1Or I just live in Detroit and am sick of guys getting easy goals on the Red Wings.

- Schmidtopolis, on 12/12/2007, -4/+6Hasek is all about making a save before a save needs to be made... either that, or just straight putting his head in front of a puck.

Lets go Red Wings!- manellis, on 12/12/2007, -1/+1I love me some Hasek, but Osgood is HOT right now. Anyways, doesn't matter, the wings are the best team in the league right now.
- Chaulis, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1Looks like there are some wings haters out there. I'm not surprised, The Wings have kicked quite a few asses over the years. You may win here diggers, but on the ice you will fall infront of Detroit, to your knees.
- manellis, on 12/12/2007, -1/+1I love me some Hasek, but Osgood is HOT right now. Anyways, doesn't matter, the wings are the best team in the league right now.

- VanD, on 12/12/2007, -2/+1Owww, gabby
- moo113, on 12/12/2007, -17/+10It was a stupid and dangerous move on Hasek's part. What if Gaborik hadn't have had his head clear the ice? Easily could've been paralyzed or killed, I've seen less do more damage.
- harryterry, on 12/12/2007, -2/+16no offense to Gaborik, but that was all on him...he had his head down. and hockey is dangerous, get the ***** over
- jasz, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1If soccer was played on ice... we would see this kind of things every day...
- silverwolf761, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2if Soccer was played on ice, you'd see people ACTUALLY getting hurt, rather than faking
- crazyhorse13, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2So its Hasek's fault that Gaborik wasn't paying attention?
- esaks, on 12/12/2007, -4/+17Hasek knew Gaborik would have beat him one on one. Did he get injured on that play? Gaborik is built of glass and tape. He's injured every single season for at least 10 games. They should change that penalty shot rule to include goal tenders for tripping on a break away too. :P
- mal1964, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1Great player but I agree he is a walking band-aid.
- mal1964, on 12/12/2007, -3/+1Hawaii and hockey when I lived there in the 90"s locals favorite sports were surfing and wahines you know da kine

Put it out there show us what you got don't worry you wont hurt us we'll take like a man.
- SeventhSon, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1Maybe he wouldn't get injured so much if he kept his head up...

- kutateli, on 12/12/2007, -28/+113Hockey > American Football
- Cerebral, on 12/12/2007, -11/+4Two completely different sports. IMO you cannot compare them.
- Rikushix, on 12/12/2007, -3/+14He's not comparing, he's just saying he likes hockey more. I concur.
- Alphateam, on 12/12/2007, -1/+9Canadian football
- vanza001, on 12/12/2007, -5/+5I agree. But most of america is A.D.D is some way or another and American Football has short bursts of action so it will always be loved more. Hockey is continuous action and thus most of american can't keep their attention on it for long enough to like it.
- dysonlu, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1No. The sport itself is great but honestly, the NHL is an ill-managed, inconsistent, non-credible garage league. Problems such as hits to the head has not been addressed quickly and effeciently. Talent is diluted -- still too many "plumbers" and players who only know how to throw their body around or throw punches. Referees are still a joke compared to other major sports. These are only a few examples among many problems the league has.
- sinurgy, on 12/12/2007, -2/+3NHL = NFL but certainly not greater than!!!!!!!
- CrudeDarkness, on 12/12/2007, -4/+4Soccer > any sport known to man
- sinurgy, on 12/12/2007, -2/+4Too bad it's played by a bunch of pussies.
- Ao4Jo, on 12/12/2007, -1/+1its too bad you're a redneck
- sgtbutterscotch, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2but soccer is a sport known to man...cannot compute
- sinurgy, on 12/12/2007, -2/+4Too bad it's played by a bunch of pussies.
- Kokichi, on 12/12/2007, -14/+6Lame. Watch soccer and you'll see this kind of "tripping" a lot more often. As a 6'4" broad-shouldered goalie, I know I've done this quite a few times to those poor quick 'n' speedy forwards :)
- Rikushix, on 12/12/2007, -0/+5I bet I've played much more soccer than you, and reffed for three years, and I can still safely see that this isn't lame. Obviously there's more tripping in soccer. Or slide-tackling, rather. You're not on ***** ice. What did you expect?
- Daiken, on 12/12/2007, -0/+3The reason why this is on the front page and a soccer trip isn't is exactly for the reason you gave. In soccer you'll see it happen all the time, half the time the players will fall intentionally just to get a penalty. In Hockey, you don't see these sort of trips, hence, front page.
And on the side, no one gives a crap how tall you are, or how broad your shoulders, or how you like to take out small guys.
- SolTym, on 12/12/2007, -7/+0I'm still wondering what Hasek was doing in the middle of the rink. Guarding the goal isn't good enough anymore?
"***** this...I'm taking it to YOU this time"- DennisPwnsj00, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1I guess we missed the part where he skated out to take out Gaborik?
- heinleineken, on 12/12/2007, -7/+16how is that a trip? If a defenseman does it, it's legal. Hasek blocked the puck. Gaborik's head is down--cardinal sin in hockey--you get what you deserve. He should get of the ice and go play no-contact roller hockey
- thredden, on 12/12/2007, -2/+1yah real smart, blame/degrade gaborik for the call the ref made. did you ever think maybe gabby thought it was a bad call?
- IHaveIssues, on 12/12/2007, -0/+4Hew took out the player's legs. If a defenseman did it he would have gotten a penalty too. Once the goalie leaves the crease he's a player. The correct call was made.
- ihlemic10, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2Partially correct. More over its because he tripped him outside the 'Goalkeepers privileged area'. This is different than the blue crease. Even outside of the crease you cannot be roughed up as a goalie. If Hasek did this behind the hash marks, he probably would have gotten away with it as that is the privileged area. He was too far out of the net when he took the guy out, therefor a penalty.
- sgglynn, on 12/12/2007, -1/+2Hasek was out of the crease & hit the player before the puck, it sucks, but it's a trip.
- SeventhSon, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1Hasek makes contact with the puck well before he hits the legs. That was aggressive goal tending and a good and clean play. Gaborik should have had his head up.
- thredden, on 12/12/2007, -1/+48bobby orr, now there is a true superman pose...

Watch the clip and remember he was supposed to be defending. The sick thing is that he did both equally well. Probably one of the best all around players we'll ever see. Legendary. Wish I was old enough to really remember watching him.- mal1964, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1If they fixed knees back then like today you would of. I got to see Gordy Howe play in the world league with his sons.

- da_bradler, on 12/12/2007, -13/+7Penalty or not it's still sorta a dick move it's not like soccer where your both just as likely to get hurt, it's a hockey goalie wearing a suit of armor rolling up like a ball and throwing himself at you.
I mean the forward has no option, there is a difference between playing the puck and taking somebody out, no different then hitting someone from behind into the boards, you can't just blame the person who got hit. this is the reason why most people who are assholes play hockey, always searching for a cheap hit and a fight.- Ziak, on 12/12/2007, -2/+10Its not a "dick move", its hockey. When I used to play it came down to this a lot of the time on breakaways, either slide at the puck and player with your pads stacked or get forced into the back of the net, it's the smart and right thing to do. Hasek took the same ideology to a little too much, but its a smart defensive play.
- fate3, on 12/12/2007, -6/+6it's a dick move, hasek pretty much just slide tackled him
- Frozenpython, on 12/12/2007, -1/+3You are wrong if you thing this is a good play. Why do you think Hasek got a penalty? It's tripping! You can't do that...
You might have played hockey but apparently you don't know ***** about it if you think he made a "good play".- SeventhSon, on 12/12/2007, -0/+3It isn't tripping. Hasek made contact with the puck first, so it wasn't a trip.
- frazierhockey03, on 12/12/2007, -1/+2The only problem with your argument is that it isn't tripping. Hasek made contact with the puck when he slid into him so it's technically like a stick check. If it was anyone else on the ice making that play, it would have been clean. Yeah, he was a little gung ho about it, but that's just Hasek and that's just hockey. Go Red Wings!
- Cannon49, on 12/12/2007, -2/+1Ya you're right sliding into a players legs, touching the puck or not DEFIANTLY isn't tripping.
- frazierhockey03, on 12/12/2007, -1/+2Well, if you were smart enough to actually read the rules of hockey and see that in fact in Rule 57 – Tripping, it says "If, in the opinion of the Referee, a player makes contact with the puck first and subsequently trips the opponent in so doing, no penalty shall be assessed." So, next time you want to make an argument, personally, I would find some proof to back it up. Otherwise I would keep my mouth shut.
- Cannon49, on 12/13/2007, -1/+214 years playing hockey is proof enough to me
Try blatantly taking out a players legs and happen to touch the puck in the process. See if you don't end up in the box.- frazierhockey03, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1After 12 of playing myself, I have never ended up in the box for a tripping call like that. In fact, I have never seen a tripping call like that because if you touch the puck before the player, it's not a penalty no matter what you want to believe.
- Cerebral, on 12/12/2007, -1/+5Not only do I agree with Ziak but also he did have another option. If you read all the comments on here and listen to the commentators you will hear him say that dude's head was DOWN. If he was looking up he could easily have avoided the hit.
- Ziak, on 12/12/2007, -2/+10Its not a "dick move", its hockey. - doublejay1973, on 12/12/2007, -2/+3Yup. Superman has the whole flying thing down....although this guy shows promise.
Foul though. Puck or no. - OttawaMarcin, on 12/12/2007, -1/+6If the Ottawa Senators goalie, Ray Emery, played like that, we wouldn't have had a 7 game losing streak.
That was an awesome play.
More goalies should have the balls to pull risky moves like that.- JohnDakota, on 12/12/2007, -1/+1Gerber was in for almost the entire 7 game skid the sens had. And emulating Dominik is not what we want Emery doing. Dominik is good for 2 things now, faking crease obstruction penalties, and getting scored on. Ok maybe 3, warming the pine.
- kbandy, on 12/12/2007, -11/+3Superman that ho...
-Souljaboy
okay, I'll stop now :-) - tweedius, on 12/12/2007, -2/+2No harm no foul. That was a complete no head touch front flip, and he has pads on.
- hektur, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1My goalie did this too someone last year, but thge poor guy on the other team hit the post after landing.
- SeventhSon, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1I did that to someone last week. The last two breakaways the bastard had, he forgot about the puck and focused on "losing an edge" and wrapping my spine around the post. When I saw that he had his head down, I sent him flying.
- Brut3forc3, on 12/13/2007, -0/+1I ran the post so hard time wearing a home jersey that I had red paint on it after!

I miss the Bob Probert days.- Frozenpython, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1I miss Bob too. That is one guys I would love to have seen Boogaard square off with.
- GrotoMoto, on 12/12/2007, -5/+0Good trip. Bad call
- danielrh9, on 12/12/2007, -1/+3Sometimes in hockey, especially in college hockey, you play to a penalty. It pumps up the crowd and the team, and pisses the other team off and forces bad judgment on them. If this happened in a NCAA game, the place would freaking EXPLODE.
- Tsooris13, on 12/12/2007, -2/+6Rule 57 – Tripping 57.1 Tripping – A player or goalkeeper shall not place the stick, knee, foot, arm, hand or elbow in such a manner that causes his opponent to trip or fall.
Accidental trips which occur simultaneously with a completed play will not be penalized. Accidental trips occurring simultaneously with or after a stoppage of play will not be penalized.
If, in the opinion of the Referee, a player makes contact with the PUCK FIRST and subsequently trips the opponent in so doing, no penalty shall be assessed.
As badass as it may have been, and as much as I hate how pussy the officiating in hockey has become, THAT was a penalty. IMO, not because it was too physical, but because it prevented a potential goal. Oh and glad to see Gaborik is okay. He's very injury prone.- Cannon49, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2Hell it could just have easily been a penalty shot since Gaborick was technically on a breakaway.
- Frozenpython, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1Thank you Tsooris13!
Looks like the majority of Digg need some Hockey lessons...
As cool this might have looked it was wrong. And the penalty should have been a Penalty Shot. IMHO - VAPerson, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2How are you ignoring that his pads hit the puck first? Your post just validates that it should NOT have been a penalty according to the letter of the rules! Hasek's legs went right into his stick first and forced the puck back. After that it is all incidental contact and totally clean. If the guy was skating with his head up like you are supposed to, he would not have gone flying like that.
- mk2ja, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2Thanks for posting that rule, Tsooris. I was going to look it up myself, but you saved me the time!
That said, however, I've got to agree with VAPerson. After reading the rule, I watched the video again, and it really looks like he hit the puck first, which means that no penalty should have been assessed.
Additionally, I think your conclusion that it was a penalty "because it prevented a potential goal" seems a bit off base. Isn't the whole point of the goalie to stop potential goals? And if it is the goalie's job to stop potential goals, and if he takes an action for which the Rule says "no penalty shall be assessed", then the goalie simply should not get called for a penalty. In this particular case, as per the definition of a Trip, that was a bad call. I've been following hockey since I was a little kid, but I won't claim to know ALL the rules, so there may be a different Rule that handles the scenario in question more appropriately. So it might have actually still been a penalty, but it certainly was not a Trip, according to the definition you referenced.
Does anybody know of any other Rule that dictates that that should have been a penalty?
- ytsejam29, on 12/12/2007, -4/+9Those commentators are morons...Hasek was making NO attempt to play the puck, he was sliding skate first and clearly just trying to take the player out. Easy penalty.
- justintherat, on 12/12/2007, -0/+2It is interesting to hear each team's commentators. I saw the FSN North (Minnesota) broadcast, and they surely didn't bitch and moan about the call like that. And no, they didn't flip out on Hasek or anyone else either. I know commentators are going to display some bias, which is usually good, but come on, show some objectivity.
- dmoney51, on 12/12/2007, -0/+0Typically by this late in the 3rd period Mickey Redman (the wings color announcer) is far past drunk, so we usually just ignore him.
- carneymi, on 12/12/2007, -0/+0Hockey is such a fast paced game, as a goalie, if you were out there to play the puck and saw the guy flying at you, what would you do? I can tell you what I would do - exactly what Hasek did. It's human nature.
Penalty? Eh, didn't matter.

- 5xSTUN, on 12/12/2007, -1/+4We here in Buffalo miss Hasek. He was instrumental in the Sabres' success in the late 90s.
- djfrey, on 12/12/2007, -0/+0Speak for yourself - I wish he'd bothered playing even when he didn't "feel like it". He did do damn well in the Cup series vs Dallas though.
Miller is damn competent in the net, our D just runs hot and cold. I miss Marty Biron more than Hasek!

- RedSaber, on 12/12/2007, -6/+5Hasek, the guy from whom I adopted his style of goalkeeping.
It's so chaotic, players can't figure it out... gosh it's cool to play like that! ;)- Cannon49, on 12/12/2007, -0/+1Its also really stupid and gives up easy goals to anyone who can put the puck into the top 75% of the net ... congrats

- Ans3r, on 12/12/2007, -2/+2Ippon!
- analbumcover96, on 12/12/2007, -3/+31. he got to the puck first before the trip
2. the forward was looking down at the puck... if he was looking up he could have skated around the dumbass goalie
put osgood back in the net hes freakin 14-1-1- ArmedRebel, on 12/13/2007, -0/+0Hasek does flop too much and leaves the top of the net open, but he's one of the best goalies in the league and there is a reason he is a hall of famer and won multiple vezinas. Hate him or love him, he's the *****, and his career record speaks thusly. :)
I was at the game, it was awesome to see in person. This play was the *****, go Hasek,
