Bruins to host Flyers at Fenway Park for Winter Classic

tsn.ca — The home of the Boston Red Sox will finally host a National Hockey League game. The NHL announced on Wednesday that the 2009-2010 regular season schedule would be highlighted by a matchup at Boston's Fenway Park between the Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers on Jan. 1.

    Secondly, hockey's the greatest sport known to mankind. All this coming from a die-hard Canadiens fan.

More people could have gone (and they def would have still sold out), tailgating would be allowed, better actual seating setup, etc. Though I love it with all my heart, the seating at Fenway is barely set up properly for baseball, let alone a hockey rink.

    Toronto sucks and will continue to be irrelevant as long as you fill the $400 seats and swill the watery Molson to watch such an awful team.

    (Believe me, I know how it feels --- the Eagles are similar in the sense that they will only do enough to fill the seats -- never enough to win a championship)
