- Vladius, on 11/07/2008, -0/+15i've never seen so many hockey posts on digg before. its good to see!!
- plainOldFool, on 11/07/2008, -0/+8wait, what?
You accidentally the whole thing?!? - MrHammer, on 11/07/2008, -1/+8Good luck to NJ without Brodeur. Good luck to you Weekes.
- Rev0lver, on 11/07/2008, -0/+6***** amazing is what it is.
- bunkka, on 11/07/2008, -1/+8heal faster brodeur!
yay hockey! - ivand67, on 11/07/2008, -0/+7You typical ignorant fag. Go to Pittsburgh and tell that to the soldout crowd at the Igloo. Same thing for the fans at MSG in New York. Same for the sold out crowds in Philly and Buffalo, and Denver and Detroit and Boston. Tell that to the soldout crowd at Wrigley Field on January 1st who will watch the 2nd annual Winter Classic.
WTF do you have against hockey? There's a hockey section on digg for a reason. It's part of the sports landscape in America, like it or not. Three of the 6 original teams of the NHL are American teams, and 24 of the 30 today are in the US. And that's because there's a market for them. Take it up with Kevin Rose if you don't think it's appropriate.
Have you ever been to an NHL game? Doubt it. Played hockey? Probably not. I bet you couldn't skate. And if you could you'd get knocked out in seconds Scott Stevens style.
LOL and this is the 4th comment you've made in hockey stories. What's the matter, are you threatened by it? By your own logic, there should be a European digg, I don't know, digg.eu for the ***** soccer stories you've dugg. That sissy sport full of divers. Here's your other 3 stupid comments:
undugg for hockey - http://digg.com/hockey/Once_a_Rangers_fan_now_Ligh ...
What the hell? Is everyone on digg from Canada? Sure seems like it considering the amount of Hockey stuff. http://digg.com/hockey/The_Best_15_NHL_Shootout_Go ...
Can someone please explain how this got into the digg front page? This is NOT NEWS. In fact, I'm pretty sure 99.99% of the world doesn't cares about this. http://digg.com/hockey/Rozsival_says_he_let_Ranger ...
75% of the ***** on digg isn't considered news either, so you don't get how digg works either. You're a complete moron. - ivand67, on 11/07/2008, -0/+6LOL this is your typical ignorant hockey hater
- pooljoe, on 11/07/2008, -0/+6Not everything making the front page needs be about politics, tech or whoever southpark is trashing!
- EvoIII8, on 11/07/2008, -1/+7phew. What a relief. Get well soon Marty!
- Rev0lver, on 11/07/2008, -1/+7As a sports fan, I wish him a speedy recovery and can't wait to see him shatter these two records later on this season.
As a Rangers fan? YES! YES YES YES YES YES! - cyrix, on 11/07/2008, -0/+5You're a member of digg yet you don't understand at all how it works. Different people from all walks of life are members of this site. They all like different things. I used to be a goalie and find this story interesting, hence why I dugg it. I also find pictures of storm trooper figurines riding chipmunks interesting. Not everyone is going to fall in line with what you think is interesting, get over it and get the ***** off that high horse before you get knocked the ***** off it.
I appreciate the fact that Jeffler has gotten so many FP stories about hockey on digg. To be honest it's a huge refreshing change from all the political ***** that was in essence raping the front page for the last few months. I'd much rather watch a top 10 goalie saves video than read about some ***** about Palin, McCain, Obama, or Biden, after having that ***** stuffed down my throat for months on end despite filtering out politics in my preferences. If you don't like it, bury it, don't digg it, ignore it. But commenting on it and just whining without giving any constructive reasoning is just ***** asinine. - brownsound00, on 11/07/2008, -1/+6He's the true king... here's to a speedy recovery marty
- spyd3rweb, on 11/07/2008, -0/+5Brodeur is the one of an elite few of old school goalies left in the league who don't depend on oversized pads to be good (*cough* Giguere).
- LaGStAr, on 11/07/2008, -2/+6I wonder if Patrick Roy would have any of those records if it weren't for him being on amazing teams and wearing massively over-sized equipment and jersey.
- Robyn6687, on 11/07/2008, -1/+4Don't discriminate. If you don't like it, bury it.
- soyl3ntgr33n, on 11/07/2008, -0/+3Hockey likes Canada?
Go back to 1st grade - spyd3rweb, on 11/07/2008, -0/+3For ***** sakes, stop burying things just because you don't like them, it ruins things for everybody. Bury is for obvious crap like spam, dups and outright bad posts. A few buries can overrule hundreds of diggs. Just don't digg it if you don't like it, or remove the topic from your profile.
- DonCreech, on 11/07/2008, -0/+3Ah come on, I'm sure his mom is thrilled!
- str1fe, on 11/07/2008, -3/+6Would you prefer the McPalin spam that spent the past 6 months on the front page? I, for one, am happy that hockey is seeing better front page time.
Go Thrashers. - goalieguy314, on 11/07/2008, -2/+5This is ruining my fantasy hockey team!
- ivand67, on 11/07/2008, -1/+4If you don't like it, don't digg it. If you think it's *****, THEN bury it.
If you have a personal vendetta against a sport that you've probably never played and are clicking on hockey stories and making negative comments about hockey like camilos007 is doing, then get laid and get a life.
BTW this camilo guy's name is Pete Sapai. Pizza Pie! haha - froston, on 11/07/2008, -1/+4http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJwAyCM1OuA
For those who need to educate themselves. - arunforce, on 11/07/2008, -0/+3Hockey fights?
Shame on you. - PKO17, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2Giguere, Lundqvist, Luongo are the big three (literally).
- PKO17, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2The Devils haven't had a good defense in years and Marty has still churned out 40 win seasons. Not to mention, by the time Brodeur retires, his wins minus shootout wins statistic will still be higher than Roy's wins.
- seannj30, on 11/07/2008, -0/+2Remind me, who won the Stanley Cup that series?
- CreamySmooth, on 11/07/2008, -2/+4Ive loved Roy since I was like 7 years old and he was with the Avs rippin it up. I lost my respect for him when I saw him cheering while his son manhandled the ***** out of another goalie who didnt wanna fight. Just seemed kinda scummy.
- hdhock3y, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1We can also take a look at his stats in that playoff run:
SV % = .934
GAA = 1.65
SO = 7 - MrHammer, on 11/07/2008, -3/+4No, he got breast implants... :|
- brownsound00, on 11/07/2008, -2/+3Yea agreed... you don't really like seeing that. it seems like brodeur is a really good guy
- hdhock3y, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1But does it really matter in the overall picture when you win the Cup anyways?
- ivand67, on 11/07/2008, -1/+2Brodeur's never been hurt before. It HAD to happen at some point in his career. We're missing Gonchar and Whitney so there's no way I'm not happy about this.
- seannj30, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1I was at that game. It was pretty much the most epic thing I have ever seen in my entire life.
- hdhock3y, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1Lundqvist too...
http://tenderslounge.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/h ... - petervenkman, on 11/07/2008, -1/+2Funny, one could argue the same thing about Brodeur playing consistently behind the best defense in the NHL. And HE has had the luxury of shootouts added to the past few years as well.
- DrVic, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1The best of all time, we wish you a speedy recovery.
- soyl3ntgr33n, on 11/07/2008, -1/+2Weekes will be serviceable, and I'm a Ranger fan saying this
- hdhock3y, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1Roy was a great goalie, not a great person.
- hdhock3y, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1I'm not Canadian and I like hockey.
- PedleZelnip, on 11/07/2008, -1/+1This one's always fun to watch too:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXEzD1heawU - cubbiesx, on 11/07/2008, -3/+3Good thing you're the only one in the world who plays fantasy hockey.
- supermanly, on 11/07/2008, -3/+2Take your time Brodeur, don't rush it ;)
/Pens fan - droogieca, on 11/07/2008, -1/+0Take your bucket off and fight like a man or get off the ice.
- droogieca, on 11/07/2008, -1/+0Scott Stevens and Neidermeyer (not to mention the entire forward corp playing the trap) in New Jersey helped Broduer a hell of a lot more than the flashy Europeans that Roy usually played behind.
Also, *****. - droogieca, on 11/07/2008, -6/+4Good to know Patrick Roy will still have his record when he gets his jersey retired. He deserves that.
- hermizzle, on 11/07/2008, -14/+0What is this sport called....h o ck ey?
