- MasterQ, on 10/10/2008, -0/+4and I wouldn't call it a "development league" because the AHL is much more than that. I've been to AHL and NHL games and I would simply call it a slightly toned down league compared to the NHL, but not by much at all.

- starkraving, on 10/10/2008, -1/+5I say this at the beginning of every season, but I really do believe that this could be Vancouver's year. We've got a whole slew of young, hungry players, finally a forward who seems to be gelling with the Sedin twins, and the Raymond/Demitra line means we have mad depth for scoring. All they need to do is stay healthy and keep playing with this fire in their bellies that they seem to have and we should sail into the playoffs.
