World Class Cancer Center Opens in Central Illinois
thesouthern.com — The new SimmonsCooper Cancer Institute at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine opened yesterday. SimmonsCooper's pledge of $10.2 million was announced in November 2005. Much of the desire behind the pledge was spurred by the law firm's work representing asbestos victims affected by mesothelioma.
