- screwy3333, on 05/14/2009, -0/+24Now I know why my girlfriend cries so much
- Dabaum, on 05/14/2009, -0/+20File this under the "no *****" category
- Amadeus2490, on 05/14/2009, -2/+20Women being so insecure and playing mind-games with you is such a turn-off. Who's with me?
- Gareth321, on 05/14/2009, -0/+15You have a small penis?
- dazparkour, on 05/14/2009, -1/+15You mean people who don't throw themselves at everyone are more likely to find partners that try?
From the dept. of: You'dNeverHaveGuessedIt. - inactive, on 05/13/2009, -4/+18and those with both beauty and brains can make me emotionally ***** UP
- 1310nm, on 05/14/2009, -0/+12This was just an excuse for the researchers to meet 18 year old twins. I must say, they did a fantastic job of snowballing King's College London on the scientific merits of knowing what causes 18 year old twins to orgasm. It's almost like the true objective was determining the most ridiculously useless thing you could coerce a university's finance department into letting you research, while at the same time having and/or talking about sex.
- Tinendo, on 05/14/2009, -0/+10BREAKING: Happy people are happy and unhappy people are 50% less happy than the happy people.
- Topkill, on 05/14/2009, -0/+10Yeah I'm sure you would, but you can't
- seltaeb4, on 05/14/2009, -0/+9From this male's standpoint, smart is sexy.
- Tyrghast, on 05/14/2009, -1/+9Dugg for thumbnail
- inactive, on 05/14/2009, -2/+10Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a real term used to describe how "smart" someone is. EI vs. IQ is like street-smart vs. book-smart. A high EI is a much better predictor of success in life than a high IQ.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_intelligenc ... - Xofre, on 05/14/2009, -0/+7wasn't this on digg a few days ago?
- d66kid, on 05/14/2009, -1/+8the rest are eliminated by other factors
- Vikstar, on 05/14/2009, -0/+6The study shows that there is a correlation between emotional intelligence and ability to orgasm. The website falsely claims that the ability to orgasm is caused by emotional intelligence. Correlation is not causation. Perhaps it's the other way around, that women who are able to orgasm easily develop higher emotional intelligence. Perhaps, the causal relationship is based on a third unknown factor.
- jamauss, on 05/14/2009, -1/+7Do these women gives lessons? Where can I sign up my wife?
- sealink, on 05/14/2009, -0/+6As a woman with a reasonable amount of emotional intelligence, I can say that being "emotionally intelligent" creates a positive feedback loop in arousal. The more I understand how hot my partner is, the hotter I get. The hotter I get, the hotter my partner gets and so on ad infinitum.
- inactive, on 05/14/2009, -2/+7"street smart" vs "book smart" is a fallacy anyway.
- ThatsNotPudding, on 05/14/2009, -2/+7And yet they are still attracted *****.
- Zetsubou, on 05/14/2009, -1/+5Erm, what about guys that have "emotional intelligence"?
- Krissam, on 05/14/2009, -0/+4That's what she said :/
- L8blumR, on 05/14/2009, -0/+4I didn't know I had EQ until I read this article.
I agree with sealink. But first, there has to be complete trust. That didn't happen until I met my husband. - o76923, on 05/14/2009, -1/+5So its women's fault they don't orgasm because they don't talk about their feelings? I think I see a pig flying...
- ShiftyBizniss, on 05/14/2009, -0/+3Yes:
http://digg.com/general_sciences/Intelligent_women ... - priegog, on 05/14/2009, -0/+3Someone who knows science and statistics, on my Digg?
Who would've thunk it? - inactive, on 05/14/2009, -1/+4"Emotional Intelligence" = Oxymoron
- tomasmarc, on 05/14/2009, -0/+3Well duhhh. It's pure logic. People who are smarter are better in bed. Because they're better in everything.
Duhhh again. - nyxerebos, on 05/14/2009, -0/+2No, the concept of emotional intelligence still allows that a great many people are simply retarded, most men for instance - low EQ.
- L8blumR, on 05/14/2009, -0/+2All women are capable, just have to learn to ask for what they need to O.
- scuba7183, on 05/19/2009, -0/+2***** mind games. I say what I mean and mean what i say
- PhillyMJS, on 05/14/2009, -2/+4If they think women with brains bring more fun to the bedroom, they should study women with "daddy issues" for a while. They bring so much more fun to the bedroom, sometimes they need a girlfriend to help them carry it all.
- Garda, on 05/14/2009, -1/+3No, she cries because you beat her with your fist
- silverchrysalis, on 05/14/2009, -0/+2emotionally intelligent women are not attracted to ***** because we are generally much more secure in ourselves. and you usually won't find us figuring out the guy's an ***** 12 months down the road, because we're better at pinpointing those signs way early on- like when we first meet the guy.
and the article is true in many ways- our sex lives are frickin' awesome! ;) - sealink, on 05/14/2009, -0/+2FTA: "In contrast to the assumptions of many sex therapists and educators, more attention should be given to improve quality and duration of intercourse rather than foreplay," the Scottish and Czech Republic researchers stated."
THIS - cybershoplifter, on 05/14/2009, -2/+4Yes, women with high EI are better at faking orgasms. Men with high EI are better at faking relationships:-)
- sealink, on 05/14/2009, -0/+1I think you'd find that a great deal of the women the article is talking about are not attracted to *****.
- bromac, on 05/14/2009, -4/+5Self-actualization, in 90's "everyone's special" newspeak. In this case, its the "everyone's smart", and intelligent in some way PC term.
- grandhi, on 05/14/2009, -1/+2yah, i agree.
- scuba7183, on 05/19/2009, -0/+1Yup. Thats pretty much how we roll
- Grueslayer, on 05/15/2009, -0/+1They usually wear dark clothing, listen to depressing music, cut themselves, and think nobody cares about them (at least they got one thing right).
- sealink, on 05/14/2009, -0/+1There is a book called Emotional Intelligence that's pretty good.
Or you could see if your EAP/local social worker will help. They often do counseling. Beware the crazy ones, though. Half the people that get into psychology originally took the classes in college to try to better understand themselves. - nyxerebos, on 05/14/2009, -0/+1I have no idea why you're being dugg down.
- techdever, on 05/17/2009, -0/+1Actualize!
- Hanoirocks, on 05/14/2009, -0/+1Is this the same as "the crazier the woman, the hotter the sex"? Yes, I'm a Leykis listener.
- Spamiclese, on 05/14/2009, -0/+1Moderately NSFW because of visible nip action.
- cybershoplifter, on 05/14/2009, -0/+1..your short comment makes me want to suggest you take a closer look..High IQ and EI combined are a powerful combination.
- ZenMojo, on 05/14/2009, -0/+1You win the internets.
