- ryanhayn, on 11/30/2008, -11/+271Wow. I thought I was prepared for what I was about to see. I was wrong.
- HiImFromReddit, on 11/30/2008, -31/+280Anybody else clicked because they expected to see someone with a pair of long legs that literally go on for forever? (Although, thinking about it, disproportionate legs would look weird even if they were thin.)
Nonetheless it looks like a really unfortunate case but her cheery attitude is really a breath of fresh air when it comes to people facing disabilities. I mean she's still living pretty much independantly, which says something about the human spirit. - mrmiggidude, on 11/30/2008, -11/+243Man, that doesn't even seem real. It's wonderful that she's able to be cheery through that.
- telfy, on 11/30/2008, -26/+214Unbelievable, the body works in mysterious ways. Makes you realize how lucky we really are!
- techdever, on 11/30/2008, -16/+126warning: bury brigade at work
- doublefelix, on 11/30/2008, -3/+65Words fail me. And I see I'm not alone.
- mrmiggidude, on 11/30/2008, -14/+76You're dumb as *****.
- NuttyVirus, on 11/30/2008, -5/+59Correct me if im wrong but are you saying that you have a small you know what....?
- Gullop, on 11/30/2008, -34/+87Wow all these comments are utter *****.
And so is this one. - whiteguysamurai, on 11/30/2008, -10/+61I hope she finds help, no one should have to live that way.
- draculthemad, on 11/30/2008, -5/+50That is an odd definition of "works"
Sounds like a malfunction to me. - Renster84, on 11/30/2008, -5/+43the word is penis.
PENIS - MalumProhibitum, on 11/30/2008, -2/+39Thanks for that. I was thinking about feeling sorry for myself today. Right now Im feeling pretty fortunate.
- Impressa, on 11/30/2008, -4/+39You're doing it wrong.
- Eaststand, on 11/30/2008, -8/+40wow........... poor lady, on the plus side, I was impressed with her shoes.....
- scalded, on 11/30/2008, -2/+34Haha. "HiImFromReddit"

Digg should just add an "import comments from reddit" feature. - smashingmonkey, on 11/30/2008, -4/+36Seems like she's more fit than most people mentally and emotionally. Very upbeat and likable - I hope she gets the help she needs to vastly improve the quality of her life.
- Opiebreath, on 11/30/2008, -5/+35At least she's optimistic about having something named after her, I suppose...
- Oatlord, on 11/30/2008, -3/+33Nah dude, I'm pretty sure her problem is her gigantic-ass legs.
- ChileanGoD, on 11/30/2008, -2/+28They are doing quite a good job, though, hiding moronic comments.
- corrald, on 11/30/2008, -3/+25Wow...what courage. She's awesome.
- temporaryescape, on 11/30/2008, -0/+18Unbelievable, the body malfunctions in mysterious ways.
- seledoux, on 11/30/2008, -1/+18it's really too bad that extreme *****-ishness [an actual affliction, suffered by millions, including yourself] isn't physically visible. i bet you'd garner a few nudges and pokes, despite how common it is.
- smashingmonkey, on 11/30/2008, -1/+17Moylan, I bet you think you're pretty normal. I'd rather hang out with an upbeat person with freakishly large legs than an ordinary douchebag like you.
- inactive, on 11/30/2008, -1/+17Who knows where the problem stems from? If they amputate the legs, the tissue above the cut may continue to grow out of control. Just saying.
- crossmr, on 11/30/2008, -1/+16I bet its lupus.
- arxhon, on 11/30/2008, -0/+15The idiot brigade got here first, that's all.
- drummerguy520, on 11/30/2008, -2/+16No I expected to see a pair of wide legs because that is what the description talks about.
- leandrotami, on 11/30/2008, -0/+14Can you imagine how confused future anthropologists will be after they find her remains 1000 years from now?
- jave8u, on 11/30/2008, -0/+13It's not even the bury brigade. All of these comments are just really bad.
- Avaseal, on 11/30/2008, -0/+12I saw a TLC documentary on her about a month ago. Though frustrated at having to hoist around a couple of limbs that weigh around 200lbs when her net weight is 280lbs, she seems generally happy with life
- k0tiak, on 11/30/2008, -0/+12Those shoes were pretty dope.
- GrandBreton, on 11/30/2008, -4/+16Nobody got the joke? :(
- Bonders20, on 11/30/2008, -0/+11No, I expected to see a sort of model with REALLY long legs.
- vbullinger, on 11/30/2008, -1/+12But what I don't get is... if I were in her situation, I'd rather have prosthetic legs than put up with what she is.
Just do it. You won't be a freak if you have legs made of metal and plastic. You'll look normal and you won't have any health issues and you'll be able to move around normally. - Lane, on 11/30/2008, -0/+9Actually its only on one shoe if you look closely. In fact id bet shes crippled without the platform on her shoe.... ya know, BECAUSE HER LEGS AREN'T THE SAME LENGTH.
- MCA2142, on 11/30/2008, -4/+13Hi. This is Digg, 2008.
- 8randon, on 11/30/2008, -1/+10oh noez i must b ghey
- cosinezero, on 11/30/2008, -2/+11It's intelligent design!
- ryanonfire, on 11/30/2008, -6/+15I remember seeing her on TV and she said she was going to have her legs amputated since she really can't use them anyway.
- fletcher008, on 11/30/2008, -0/+9The joke was already made and it sucked then, too.
- FreckleEars, on 11/30/2008, -0/+9They did not go into detail but I would be seriously concerned about blood flow for her. If she has 200% extra mass in body parts that are not natural, chances are it is straining her heart. If she starts to get any blood clots etc she may be facing some serious gangrene or other body mass loss condition. They should at least try to reduce the size if it is safe; cut away some of the mass that is not functional.
- techdever, on 11/30/2008, -2/+10TURN OFF THOSE DAMN CAPS.
It's things like this that are ruining the internet these days. - mistergoomba, on 11/30/2008, -1/+9Why she decided to go with platform shoes is beyond me...
- SisyphusFragmnt, on 11/30/2008, -0/+8I saw the same show, she went to see some doctors about have them removed and then she pussed out and decided to wait until the last possible second before removing them. Personally, if I had that condition I'd just have them removed and get a sweet electric wheelchair with spinners on the sides.
- dragonystic, on 11/30/2008, -3/+11lol, hilarious. i have no idea why its buried.
i think that once something gets like -5 or -10, every other digger sees it and just goes with the crowd. - DephexTwin, on 11/30/2008, -0/+8What? You expected to see legs that "literally go on forever"??
- WebWorker, on 11/30/2008, -0/+8I tried using this as a rap, and the last line doesn't go with the rest.
- ndgcs, on 11/30/2008, -0/+7It's never lupus.
- Hoogs, on 11/30/2008, -1/+8Do you ever wonder what your mother would say if she found your Digg account and looked at your comments?
