- b04155, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Generally I could lay around and watch movies, but while on vacation my definition of relaxing = hiking, water sports, trying something new like spelunking, etc. My wife on the other hand could spend seven straight days on a beach reading a book. I usually go stir crazy within the first 20 minutes of that type of 'activity'.

I once spent an entire summer doing nothing but watching TV and shooting hoops out in the driveway, and I swear, I was on bliss overload. Another time I experienced that was just sitting under a tree, blasting my boom box as loud as it would go, just enjoying the weather and the music. I mean, I like my job and all, but I've never been one of those people who gets pleasure out of working, and I've always been terribly happy doing nothing at all.
