  • seltaeb4, on 09/19/2008, -0/+1The main reason for widespread antibiotic resistance? Antibiotics are being force-fed to livestock in massive doses so that they don't get sick from standing and laying in their own excrement for 24 hours a day before they are slaughtered.

    It saves corporate ranchers a few cents per animal, so the health of you and your family be damned. Enjoy all the bonus e. coli too!
